1. I get an error message “Please enter a different user name.”
This is a known weakness that can be reproduced. Unfortunately, we cannot change the software because it is a problem with a generic security routine.
The way out is as follows:
After you have entered the required registration data you want to proceed with the registration process by clicking on the field “create user”. In most cases this issue arises when using a mouse device for doing this, rather than using the ENTER-key. For some reasons the mouse pointer does not only click once but twice or three times, quickly one after the other. As a consequence the security system stores your data once (and we can find the data in our database) but the second click following immediately tries to store the same data including the same user name again and as a consequence creates the error message “Please enter a different user name”.
The only way out is to do the following
1. fill out the registration form as on following picture
2. after having entered the security answer please use the “TAB” – key to get to the “Create User” – Button and hit the “Enter” – key. You should then receive the following screen:
3. now you can proceed with hitting “Next” and then follow the logical next steps. You will receive a note that an email has been sent to you, which needs to be opened in your email system for confirming your email address to us.
The critical step will be to wait and see that you really get above mentioned second page on your screen.
