Calculation of sound propagation and noise mapping outdoor for industrial and urban development
noise3D™ is the comprehensive solution for noise simulation for architects, industrial planners and environmental experts. It provides a new concept for calculation, simulation and prediction of sound propagation outdoor. The development of the acoustic model works in full 3D leveraging the SketchUp® modeling software. All digitization steps are in 3D mode keeping a realistic view of the noise simulation model in front of you. Available with a free trial version.
Why is noise3D so attractive? It is the first full scale noise simulation and prediction of sound propagation outdoor tool for smaller or new businesses. It is very affordable. Building your model and test calculations are free and you pay a monthly license fee of €79 only when the finishing calculations are required.

noise3D™ builds on ® technology
Calculation of sound propagation outdoor with noise3D is straight forward. Define the geometry of buildings and obstacles and the position of the noise source and immission points in a 3D model of the SketchUp® application. SketchUp® is convenient for input of quality 3D geometry data. You will either have or aquire a SketchUp® license from Trimble.
With a 3D model built you will record the noise data through user friendly input masks. Within seconds or minutes the ISO 9613-2 calculation provides results, such as precise result tables or colored noise maps. You will be able to present, print or onward process the results in standard office packages. With the noise3D solution you will do this by just a few clicks. With our latest release you can even transform existing SketchUp® models in noise3D into a comprehensive noise model using the funktion “building envelope”. Architects will apprechiate this linkage of architecture plans with a capability for noise control engineering.
Release 18.104.22.168 of noise3D is now available. The new release has been tested successfully with SketchUp® 2019 and 2020 and continues to support the versions PRO or MAKE 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. On the other side SketchUp Shop and SketchUp Free do not support plugins like noise3D. After registration at Register and login you will be able to download the SketchUp® plugin and calculation engine software. For installation details please read the how it works section. For a step-by-step instruction how to build an acoustic model see our manual.
You have the choice to purchase a noise3D unlimited license or pay monthly. When you decide for a monthly license then you pay only in those months when you need it. There are no automatic subscriptions, no termination or other service fees.
